After finishing 4.41 at competitions in Malmö last weekend, Michaela Meijer, second in the world outdoors, hoped to be able to rise at competitions in Kalmar.

That did not happen.

Meijer entered the competition at, for her part, low entry heights of 4.28, but failed with all three attempts and got no result in the competition.

Meijer changed pole after his first jump, but it did not help.

Helsingborg's Linnea Jönsson won the competition in 4.08.

It is noteworthy that Meijer's biggest competitor in Sweden, Angelica Bengtsson, did not participate in the competition.

Mikaela Meijer has an indoor record of 4.75 and an outdoor record of 4.83.
