The training facility in Sendai City for skateboarding, a new competition for the Tokyo Olympics, was renewed, and children immediately started practicing.

The practice facility in Tsutsujigaoka Park, Miyagino-ku, Sendai City, was renewed and opened on the 6th.

While being adopted for the new competition of the Tokyo Olympics, Sendai City was carrying out renovation work in response to a voice saying "I want a practice facility that even beginners and children can enjoy."

The facility was newly equipped with a slope called "Earl" and a "rail" on which boards were placed on pipes, and children immediately visited and practiced.

Moriki Ogido, chairman of the Sendai Skateboarding Association, said, "I didn't have a training facility like this in my time. I want this facility to bring out famous skaters to the world."

This facility is free and can be used from 9am to sunset.
