Men's 15 km classic in Falun a week ago was a messy competition.

The race contained several crashes.

The worst was for Andrew Young.

The Briton was taken to hospital, but on Saturday afternoon a reassuring message came: Nothing was broken.

The World Cup starts in two weeks

But it was not really that good.

The Briton writes on Instagram that after more examinations it has been possible to ascertain a fracture on the left calf bone.

"The first reports from the national team's doctors are that it will take up to four weeks before I can ski again," he writes.

This means that he will most likely miss the World Cup in Oberstdorf, which starts in just over two weeks.

"I hope I can get a few more races this season.

If I am ready for Oberstdorf, it is a huge bonus, but a more realistic goal is to make a comeback in the World Cup final ", writes Young.
