Maja Dahlqvist has been unbeatable in team sprint in recent years, and has five straight victories in the World Cup.

But individually it has not wanted to come loose, and before today's competition in Ulricehamn she was listed for eleven podium places individually - but zero victories.

But today it came loose.

She won the final, ahead of Johanna Hagström and Jessie Diggins, with Hanna Falk in fourth place.

- It was well worth it for Maja, says SVT Sports expert Mathias Fredriksson, and exclaims later:

- Oh how nice!

- She had a bit of a hard time in the prologue, but it got better and she got it perfect in the final.

Sundling last in the final

Even for Johanna Hagström, it was the best world placement in her career, despite the fact that as recently as yesterday she was unsure of starting after having problems with the trachea this week.

The fourth Swede in the final, Jonna Sundling, finished last after one of her poles broke at the beginning of the race.
