ROC received an official invitation to the 2022 Games in Beijing

It is noted that the invitation was sent by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and signed by the head of the IOC, Thomas Bach.

The head of the ROC Stanislav Pozdnyakov, in turn, noted that this invitation confirms the status and powers of the national Olympic committees.

“The ROC was invited to the Games as a full participant, which means that our athletes will go to Beijing as a single team formed by the Russian Olympic Committee.

The same can be said about Tokyo, ”Pozdnyakov said.

Earlier, the IOC presented the rules for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
