Chinanews Client, February 4th. On the evening of the 3rd Beijing time, the AFC issued an obituary that the former Iranian international Ansarian died of infection with the new crown virus at the age of 43.

This is the second former Iranian international to die of the new crown virus within a week.

  According to foreign media reports, from 1998 to 2007, Ansarian played in 6 games with the Iranian national team and did not contribute goals or assists.

Ansarian was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran, as a central defender. He has played for Iranian domestic league clubs throughout his career and officially retired in 2012.

  A week ago, another former Iranian international, Minawand, also died of the new crown virus at the age of 45.

Minawand has played in Iran, Austria, Belgium and other national clubs during his career.

  It is worth mentioning that Minawande also played with Iran in the 1998 World Cup as a midfielder, and won third place with Iran in the 1996 Asian Cup.

In the 1998 World Cup qualifiers, Minawand played on the bench against the national football team.
