Corona virus infects the new star of Atletico Madrid

La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid announced Thursday that their French striker, Moussa Dembele, who was recently loaned from French Lyon, is infected with the Corona virus.

The capital club stated in a statement that the team underwent tests yesterday, and that "the result of Musa Dembele's examination of the (Covid-19) pandemic was positive."

He continued: "The attacker will remain isolated at his home, provided that he strictly adheres to the recommendations followed by the medical authorities and the Spanish League protocol."

Dembele, 24, did not get the opportunity to wear his new team's shirt, as his Corona infection required him to remain in home quarantine.
