During the night towards Thursday, the Miami Heat and Washington Wizards met in what became an even match.

Decisive for Washington was the star Bradley Beal, who was the best scorer in the match with his 32 points.

It also meant that Beal started the season by scoring at least 25 points in 17 straight games, which is better than Michael Jordan's 16 game long suite during the 1988-89 season.

- It is fantastic to achieve such a figure.

Passing Michael Jordan is a great feeling but it felt even better to achieve this in a victory, says Bradley Beal.

Bradley Beal also passed another milestone.

His 32 points meant that he has now scored over 12,000 points during his career.

He is only the second in the history of the Washington Wizards to achieve 12,000 career points.

The first place is held by Elvin Hayes with his 15,551 points.

With 34.8 points per game, Beal is still the player with the most points in the entire NBA.
