Star goalkeeper Henrik Lundqvist is recovering from his heart operation, which he was forced to do due to a heart defect.

And the recovery seems to be going well for the 38-year-old.

On his Instagram account, where he has 585,000 followers, he has posted a clip where he films himself on a snow-covered street in New York.

There he hopes that everyone is well, and tells himself that he is moving around and that he himself is well.

"I did not know what to expect in the first month after the operation.

Four weeks today and I feel strong, both body and mind are filled with positive energy.

The recovery is going well ", he writes in the post.

Lundqvist's new NHL club Washington Capitals responds with a heart.

And former New York Rangers teammate Brendan Lemieux comments with a royal emoji.

The operation and the recovery from it means that Lundqvist will miss the entire ongoing NHL season.
