Hazaa Stadium hosts the first peace match between Al Ain and Maccabi Haifa

Al-Ain and Maccabi Haifa announced this evening the signing of a historic memorandum of understanding between the two clubs, through video conferencing technology (remote), and the official announcement came during the joint broadcast from the cities of Al-Ain and Haifa, exclusively on Al-Ain TV.

The memorandum will culminate in organizing a friendly peace match at Hazaa Stadium, with the second friendly to be held in Israel.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Ain Club Investment Company, Mohammed bin Thaaloub Al Deri, the President of the Israeli Maccabi Haifa Club, Yaqoub Shahar, the Executive Director of the Al Ain Club, Rashid Abdullah, the Vice President of the Maccabi Uzi Moore Club, and the Executive Director of the Maccabi Assaf Bin Dov Club.

In his speech during the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding, Muhammad bin Thaaloub Al-Deri said: I would like to congratulate everyone on the historic partnership, and here it is necessary to emphasize our commitment to the teachings of our true religion and to proceed with the approach of our wise leadership, and I believe that the partnership with the Maccabi Club is an important step in affirming The message and role of sport in promoting the concept of tolerance and consolidating the principle of peace between peoples. The memorandum also aims to consolidate the policy of cooperation and build bridges of communication between the two clubs, in various fields, marketing, technical, investment, commercial, media and sports, between the two major clubs.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club Investment Company revealed that the two clubs have agreed to hold two friendly matches, under the title "Two Peace Matches," the first will be hosted by Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, and the second match in the Israeli city of Haifa, which will be decided later.
