Karlsson did not get the form message she had hoped for during this weekend's comeback in Falun after the hotel injury that forced her to break the Tour de Ski.

Already after the first race, 10 km free with individual start on Friday, she complained about dumbness and after two falls she was 13th.

The next day she was ninth in the classic mass start, also the one over 10 km.

Then she was never with and fought at the front but had to tear a bit back in the field.

- It is clear with the results in hand, you could have handled this differently.

We have a plan for Frida in the future which she will hopefully respond well to and get in good shape for the WC, says national team doctor Per "Pliggen" Andersson to Radiosporten about Karlsson.

Karlsson tired during the comeback in Falun

After Saturday's mass start, Karlsson was disappointed and felt tired, which made her give up Sunday's sprint, which she planned to take part in.

- Yes, I think I'm a bit stressed.

So I will probably talk a little with my coach and see how I will do in the future, Karlsson told SVT then.

Karlsson had large parts of last season spoiled due to overtraining.
