The Saudi Federation seeks to host "AFC Champions League" matches

Saudi media revealed today that the Saudi Football Federation expressed its desire to host the 2021 AFC Champions League matches, in direct coordination with the participating and wishing local clubs.

Al-Riyadiah newspaper stated that the federation indicated that it needed to coordinate with the Saudi clubs participating in the tournament, explaining that all available stadiums conform to the conditions contained in the confederation’s circular, and that the official response in this regard will be made once all the necessary arrangements with all parties are completed Concerned, before the end of the period specified for submission, in the middle of the current month.

The vision is not yet clear in the Saudi Federation about whether the hosting will be for specific groups in the preliminary rounds, or whether it will request hosting all tournament matches.

He will participate in the Asian champions from the Saudi clubs, Al-Hilal, Al-Nasr and Al-Ahly, in addition to Al-Wehda if he passes the qualifying supplement to the group stage.
