scheduled for this Tuesday

against Australian Alex De Miñaur, because he suffers from lower back discomfort.

"I hope to be better on Thursday,"

Nadal says in his message.

alluding to the match that the Spanish team has that day against Greece.

For now, against Australia, Roberto Bautista, who had planned to face the number two 'Aussie' John Millman, will replace Nadal as number one of the Spanish team and, in turn, Pablo Carreño will play as number two.
