A loan for a return?

After having obtained the loan from Jean-Michaël Seri from Fulham (Premier League), the Girondins de Bordeaux could in turn lend one of their players to the Cottagers: Josh Maja.

The two clubs are in fact negotiating for a loan with an option to buy until the end of the 22-year-old striker's season according to several French and foreign media.

Arrived in January 2019 at the club in the skin of a promising youngster, Josh Maja has never really managed to win in the long term with the Navy and White despite some good performances.

It was also the number 1 choice of Jean-Louis Gasset at the start of the season.

But in two years, his record remains meager today: 11 goals and 3 assists in 48 games.

Mercato finished?

After Pablo's departure for Lokomotiv Moscow and the loan of Over Mandanda to Stade Lavallois, the downsizing operation could continue with the Englishman.

Can other players leave the ship by midnight?

Not sure despite several players at the end of their contract in June 2021 (Poundjé, De Préville, etc.).

Only Vukasin Jovanovic could leave the club.

The Serbian defender has been discussing with a Turkish club since this weekend but for now, it is blocking.

The player also allows himself the right to join in the coming days a championship whose transfer window does not end this Monday evening.

For his part, Jimmy Briand, under contract until 2022 but who has not played for several weeks, is looking for a way out.

The club are ready to let him go free like Jovanovic.

But the mission seems complicated a few hours before the market closes.

In the direction of arrivals, the Bordeaux transfer window should stop at Jean-Michaël Seri.

Unless there is a last minute rebound, the M'Baye Niang track mentioned in recent hours will not go further according to information from

20 Minutes.

There has never been direct contact between Rennes and Bordeaux about the player.

Moreover, the Breton club have already found agreements with Bologna and Genoa, two Italian clubs.
