20 Minutes

The 22nd day of Ligue 2 was the opportunity for Clermont Foot to face TFC, at the TFC Stadium.

TFC won against their opponents, with a score of 3 to 2. By scoring a brace, Van den Boomen performed well.

In 3-4-3, Garande's starting 11, with Bayo and Adli in attack, faced Gastien's classic Clermont 4-4-2, with Bayo and Berthomier in attack.

Van den Boomen opened the scoring in the 5th minute of play. On a serve from Adli, he quickly forced Gastien's goalkeeper to get the ball in his net.

However, Jim Allevinah scored in the 41st on a service from Dossou and put the two teams tied.

1-1: this is the score that ended the first half.

Van den Boomen gave the relegated club the 49th advantage, allowing his side to breathe.

Then, Téfécé saw its lead in the score widen, thanks to Spierings in the 66th, from the penalty spot.

In the 84th, Iglesias scored the final goal of the match for Clermont Foot.

A yellow card was distributed to Spierings, as well as to Magnin, Dejaegere and Antiste.

Despite the result, Clermont Foot was able to control the ball (61% of ball possession) but lacked realism in front of goal.

The TFC maintains its place at the top of the standings thanks to this new victory.

Clermont Foot does not change place and remains in 3rd position.
