Players' agents said that what is being published in general about the news of transfers of players on various social media sites, they are affected by it, and have nothing to do with it, but they acknowledged that not all of these news are rumors, and that 50% of them are true.

In an interview with Emirates Today, they blamed the clubs, and said that some of them resort to these sites to launch a "test balloon" to leak information about some of the players indirectly, to test the public's reaction before moving officially.

Athletes had told "Emirates Today" in yesterday's issue that many of the accounts spread on the "social media", which publish a large amount of news about the transfer of players, stand behind them agents seeking to promote and market their players.

Ultimately, the agents said, the case is more club-related than anyone else.

The players' agent, Walid Al-Shamsi, said, "The environment in social communication is fertile because the masses are always looking for news of their clubs, which makes them more vulnerable to rumors." He pointed out that clubs stand behind the rumor by launching a "test balloon" to leak information about its entry into Negotiations with a specific player, and waiting for the reaction of its fans before taking official action.

He continued: “Club administrations should be more professional in dealing with the spreading news, which links them to contracting with new players, and talking about entering a competing club in the deal.” He added: “The thread and sewn of the club is the one who pays, so he must follow the right methods. In contracting, and not taking into account the polishing process of the player, or talking about entering another competing club in order to raise the value of the deal.

He called for a differentiation between the name of a players' agent and a player middleman, and said: “The brokers, not the agents, control the market, with the support of newspapers in Brazil and Europe, and they are also active in social media with the aim of promoting players, in some cases raising the price of the player to five million euros Basically, the value of the entire club does not exceed the amount with which the player will move to the Emirates.

In turn, Adel Al-Amiri acquitted their court of the spread of rumors, stressing that "the main job of the players' agent is to find suitable offers for his client, and the transfer market is always a good opportunity for players and agents alike", considering that 50% of the news that is circulating before and during transfers is correct. And that the likes of them are just "rumors."

He said, “Some false news cause great harm to the player and the club.” He added, “There are players who have a valid contract with their clubs, and news shows that the player is about to leave, or he got an offer from another club, unfortunately this news strikes a state of stability between the player.” And his club ».

Al-Amiri confirmed that they are agents who are affected by rumors. He explained: “Some agents are communicating with players who have long-term contracts with their clubs, while it is better to wait for them to enter the last six months to discuss their future. Do not forget that there are some rumors aimed at excitement.”

He pointed out that the workers in the field of players agency are two types, the first is a person who is not aware of the rules and regulations, and his concern is the language of money, and the other is one who knows the regulations and is looking for the best offers for his client.

On the other hand, the Tunisian players agent, Omar Sadiqi, said that “the use of social media accounts, or even the media to market players, is something that shows the existence of a weak link in the agent and the player, and that there are sound ways through which the agent can provide the best offers to his clients instead of The pursuit of rumors ».

He said that he has been working in the players agency for quite some time now, and that he has lived in the country since 2010, and stressed: “There is a clear defect in this aspect, and the media in particular is not immune to spreading rumors.”

• Agents said: «The clubs resort indirectly to (social communication), to sense the pulse of the public before contracting with some players."
