The foreign player appears on the Syrian club list for the first time in 10 years

The foreign player reappeared in the list of Syrian football clubs, after a 10-year absence, after Al-Wehda Club in Damascus revealed, on its Facebook page, the enrollment of the four foreigners who will be tested, with the aim of strengthening the team's ranks ahead of its upcoming participation in the Cup AFC.

Al-Wehda confirmed that the four foreigners came from "Nasarawa United", the Nigerian Premier League leader, who are Ghana's Habib Osmano, along with three players from Nigeria, Denis Kozah, Emmanuel David and Hisent Akoo.

Al-Wehda will compete in the AFC Cup 2021, in Group A for West Asia, along with the Lebanese Al-Ahed, the Bahraini border, and the Omani victory.

It is mentioned, previously the Syrian clubs strengthened their ranks with professional Arab and foreign players, before the outbreak of the Syrian crisis about 10 years ago, before the game union concluded contracts with foreigners due to the circumstances imposed on the country, until recently it allowed the clubs that participate in Arab and continental championships.
