An Algerian player signs a contract worth 34 million dollars in the Premier League

West Ham United, fifth in the English Premier League, announced on Friday that the loan of Algerian international Saeed Bin Rahma from Brentford FC from the first division club has been converted into a permanent deal.

A statement issued by West Ham said that the player "signed a contract until 2026," with press reports indicating that the deal amounted to 25 million pounds (34 million dollars) in addition to five million bonuses.

The 25-year-old joined the playmaker from Brentford on loan last October after spending two seasons with him, scoring 30 goals and 27 assists.

Since his debut for the London club against Liverpool on October 31, Bin Rahma has made 14 appearances for West Ham in all competitions.

It was expected that the Scottish coach David Moyes' team would turn the loan into a permanent deal next summer, but he brought the date closer to the current winter transfer market to make room for the arrival of players on loan.

In the next few hours, the club is expected to announce the signing of Jesse Lingard from Manchester United on loan until the end of the season, after he traveled Thursday to London.

Lingard (28 years) is no longer within the Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans, so his arrival at the Moise team that he supervised in the 2013-2014 season when he was coach of the Red Devils may help him regain some of his luster.
