He continued: “We have many talented drivers who are able to deal with such challenges, and all that the country's drivers need: availability of the required logistical support, and continuous participation, especially in the World Desert Rally Championships, which extend for relatively long stages, but over a period of fewer days compared to Dakar. , As the permanent participation in the rounds of the World Championship ensures that the driver maintains the two factors of mental focus and the required skill aspect, which is what we lack as Emirati drivers. He continued: “I came from a family that professes rallying. My father, Yahya Belhili, has a clear footprint, especially in the (Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge) rally, within the (Cross Country) World Championship rounds, and is currently preparing for his 30th participation in this rally, as my career is full of several titles In the rounds of the world championship in the category (T2) for commercial production, the most prominent of which is winning the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Rally titles.
