Thanks to a real jerk at the end of the first half, Sweden connected a grip on the quarterfinals against Qatar they never lost their grip on.

Sweden eventually won 35-23.

Sweden had a lot of misses during the first half and 20 minutes in it was Qatar who had the lead with 8-7.

However, it became a short-lived lead.

In the 28th minute, Sweden had pulled away and led 12-9.

Sweden had to end the first half in a numerical disadvantage.

They managed to sort out that situation and instead end up with a penalty that Lucas Pellas set.

Sweden thus went to the break with a 14-10 lead.

Sweden withdrew further

That lead continued to be built on directly in the second half.

After just over two minutes, Sweden had increased to 17-10 through first Lucas Pellas and then Lukas Sandell twice.

Sweden continued to create opportunities and make good use of them.

Ten minutes into the second half, Sweden led by twelve goals, 25-13.

But it was not just the goal scorer who worked well for Sweden.

Andreas Palicka had a save percentage of 45 at the beginning of the second.

Sweden eventually won 35-23.

Both Valter Chrintz and Lucas Pellas accounted for eight goals each.
