It was on Monday that Expressen wrote that several clubs in SSL stop their players from going to the upcoming national team camp.

They believe that the camp is unnecessary as the national team does not have any matches until December when the World Cup is decided.

The clubs are afraid that the players will take any infection home from the camp.

The floorball series has already moved matches, and further contagion in the team would add to that even more.

- Right now I think it will be a camp.

The clubs in SSL, and the union, had a meeting yesterday (Monday) but I do not think they made a one hundred percent decision, says Malmö FBC's Ellen Rasmussen, who was chosen as last year's best player on the women's side.

"Maybe not so good"

SVT Sport has been in contact with the Swedish Floorball Association's general secretary Mikael Ahlerup who confirmed that the meeting with FSSL (the associations in the Swedish super league) had been very good.

Now they will look at a couple of different possible ways to move forward to agree on a "difficult situation".

According to information to SVT Sport, the issue has been up since last autumn and now there is one week left until it is time for camp.

Something that creates irritation - both in the association and the players.

"Unfortunately, the union may not be so good at making the wisest and fastest decisions, but I hope they can make a decision soon so I know if I should go to camp or not," says Rasmussen.
