A clear majority of Häcken's members chose to go on the board's decision and voted to take over the club's activities and the team's place in the ladies' league and the Champions League.

- It feels good to finally get an answer.

I look positively at the future and the opportunities we get with Häcken, says Göteborg FC's Filippa Curmark to SVT Sport.

Gothenburg FC visited Häcken on Monday - a visit that 25-year-old Curmark is happy with.

- Got to meet some in the organization and got a great impression.

It feels like they genuinely want us there and that is important, she says.

It was in December that the news came that Gothenburg FC, just weeks after the Swedish Championship gold, would close down its operations.

Shortly afterwards, the turning point came: the club said that after all, they will play in the Damallsvenskan 2021 and participate in the Champions League this autumn.

Curmark admits it was a chaotic time.

- That was not how you wanted to end.

We took our first gold and then came this shocking message, it has not been fun but nice that it is ready now, she says.
