Last season, Ebba Andersson dominated during the U23 WC in Germany, at the same time as the Swedish junior girls celebrated a relay bronze.

This year, the junior championships were moved to Finland after the Polish town of Zakopane withdrew due to the spread of covid-19.

The championships are decided in two Finnish places.

Vuokatti and Lahti.

Cross-country skiers are located in the popular tourist resort of Vuokatti.
