The Japan national handball team, who will participate in the Tokyo Olympics for the first time in eight tournaments in the host country frame, won one victory in the qualifying round of the world championship and advanced to the main round, which is the second league in 12 tournaments, for the first time in 24 years.



On the 25th, Japan played against Bahrain, who was 20th in the previous tournament, in the final round.



In the first half, Japan showed a solid defense and returned with a 7-point difference of 19 to 12 due to a good save by goalkeeper Yuta Iwashita.
