Milan seeks to win the Italian League "Winter" title

Leading Milan clashes with its powerful guest Atalanta, while its neighbor and chasing Inter faces an easy match on paper on Udinese land, tomorrow in the 19th stage of the Italian Football League, which will determine the honorary title for the champions of the first leg.

The city of Milan has long waited for its two teams to rise to the top, after Juventus' sweeping domination of the league title and its crowning in the last nine seasons.

Milan will be the toughest task against Atalanta, one of the main surprises on the European continent last season.

However, coach Janeiro Gasperini's team has fluctuated results this season, despite remaining in contact with the leading clubs and is currently in fifth place on par with Juventus VI, after tying in the last two matches.

Milan, with its Swedish giant Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has enough to secure the lead before the start of the second leg.

Zlatan was in the ranks of Milan in the 2011 season when he won his last title in "Serie A", before Juventus began his historic series in the last nine years.

Zlatan, 39, moved between several clubs, most recently Los Angeles Galaxy, before carrying the "Rossoneri" colors again in 2020.

Milan strengthened its ranks by joining veteran Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic, but he needs time to regain fitness after a fruitless experience with Qatar's Al Duhail.
