23-year-old Emma Lindqvist, who as recently as last month was part of the Swedish EC team, leaves the SHE team H65 Höör after five years.

When the season is over, she goes to Danish Herning-Ikast, the Danish club announced today.

- I have had five fantastic years in H65 Höör, but now I feel ready for new challenges and I am sure that Henring-Ikast is the right choice, she says on Herning's website.

"Have a good feeling"

Herning-Ikast, which has a Swedish goalkeeper in Jessica Ryde, won three Danish championship golds in the 2010s and was as late as 2018 in the Champions League quarter-finals.

- I have a good feeling and I am sure that she will be a great asset for the team.

She will really strengthen our defense, so it is a player that I have high expectations of, says Herning's sports director Daniel Grönhöj.
