Al Hilal Saudi renews the team star contract with an annual salary of 10 million riyals

The Saudi club Al-Hilal announced late Tuesday evening, the extension of the contract of Salman Al-Faraj, the first team football player, until 2025.

Al-Hilal published, through his official account on the social networking site "Twitter," photos of the signing of the contracts and announced the extension, saying: "The club management headed by Mr. Fahd bin Saad bin Nafl completed the procedures for extending the contract of Commander Salman Al-Faraj."

He added, "Al-Faraj's contract with the Hilal First Football Team extends until 2025 ... The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday evening in the Prince Abdullah bin Nasser administrative building at the club's headquarters."

The Saudi Al-Riyadiah newspaper reported today, Wednesday, that sources revealed to it that the 31-year-old contract with Al-Farag had been extended for four years, compared to ten million riyals per year.

She indicated that, by renewing with the team captain, the Crescent management ended a state of anticipation and wait that prevailed over the Crescent fans due to the entry of Al-Nasr club as a party to win the player's services.

She added that Al-Faraj has become the holder of the highest contract in the history of Saudi football, after he accepted the club's last offer, amounting to 10 million riyals, and before that the club's managers decided to renew the renewal of Yasser Al-Shahrani, the team's back.

Al-Faraj entered the last 6 months of his contract in late December, and received an official offer from Al-Nasr Club through one of the mediators, for an amount that exceeds the offer made to him by his club's management, but he preferred to remain defending the blue shirt, according to Al-Riyadiah newspaper.

Al-Faraj signed his last previous contract with Al-Hilal in 2017, for a period of four seasons.
