There was a difference of 35 points between Frölunda and Linköping before tonight's meeting, however, it should be pointed out that the LHC has two games less played.

On Saturday, Linköping defeated Oskarshamn and thus broke its ten-match losing streak.

Took second straight victory

Tonight, the East Goths took the second straight victory - and it came against one of the series' strongest home teams, Frölunda.

- Today we were willing to pay the price to win, says LHC's team captain Jonas Junland in C More.

Seven minutes into the first period, the LHC took the lead via the new acquisition Tyler Morley - who poked the puck into the open goal.

In the second period, Stefan Elliott would equalize for Frölunda.

But just a few minutes later, the guests took back the lead to 2-1.

"We know what hole we dug"

Linköping's team captain Jonas Junland was pleased with how the team "fought" in Gothenburg.

- This win builds self-confidence because we know what hole we dug, he says.

In Frölunda it was not as cheerful.

- Terribly frustrating today.

We are unimaginative in our attacking game, says coach Roger Rönnberg in C More.
