Alaba's father denies his son's transfer from Bayern to Real Madrid

The father of the Austrian international back, David Alaba, denied today what was reported in the media in the past few hours about his son reaching an agreement with Real Madrid to move to him next summer, after his contract with his current team, Bayern Munich, ended.

George Alaba, who is in charge of managing his son’s affairs, confirmed in a statement to the German sports television channel Sport 1 that “no decision has been taken yet and David has not yet signed with Real Madrid.”

He revealed, "Besides Real, there are also other clubs interested, and what he is interested in now is to be completely focused on his performance with Bayern."

The statement of the father Alaba comes in response to what was reported by the Spanish newspaper "Marca" about the arrival of the Austrian player who last season led the Bavarian giants to the triple league, the domestic cup and the European Champions League, to an initial agreement with Real to move to his ranks with a four-year contract for an annual salary of 11 million euro.

The newspaper even reported that the player took a routine medical examination "in the presence of a doctor from Real."
