Al-Wehda goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Shamsi renews his contract for four seasons

Al-Wahda Football Club has renewed the contract of first-team soccer goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Shamsi, 24, for the next four seasons, until 2025. The unit’s officials cut short any doubt regarding the news that had been raised in the past days about the imminent departure of the young goalkeeper.

Al-Wehdah confirmed the news of the renewal on its official Twitter account, and did not mention any financial details regarding the contract for the four new seasons.

Al-Shamsi appeared with Al-Wehda officially in the Arab Gulf Football League in the 2017/2018 season.

He was considered one of the best goalkeepers in the league, while he missed the first matches this season due to his national service conditions.

He has played with "Al-Annabi" 64 official matches in the league so far, and is considered one of the main elements in the former Olympic squad.
