In Seville, at the Olympic Stadium arena, the Spanish Super Cup was decided.
It was Barcelona against Athletic Bilbao.
The Frenchman Antoine Griezmann was able to place the ball after 40 minutes of play and give Barcelona the lead with 1-0.

But it only took two minutes before Bilbao equalized via Óscar de Marcos.
Griezmann, however, would strike again - in an open goal he could roll the ball in after an assist by Jordi Alba.
But in the last minute of the match, Athletic Bilbao would again equalize to 2-2.
And the Spanish Super Cup final went to extra time.
Messi expelled
In the final minutes of extra time, Leo Messi would measure a fist backlash in a duel - which ended with a VAR review - and finally a red card.
