Officially: Syrian Omar Khribin will move to Al-Wehdah until 2023

The UAE club Al-Wehda officially announced the contract with the Syrian striker, Omar Khribin, until the summer of 2023, in a free transfer deal, coming from Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia.

In an official statement, the club said: “Al-Wahda Football Club has contracted with the Syrian professional Omar Khribin (27 years), on a contract extended for two and a half seasons, without the club mentioning any details of the financial aspect of the contract.”

Omar Khribin will be on the unit’s list as a replacement for the Maldovian, Louvainor, who did not present the levels that met the ambitions of the Annabi administration.

The Syrian striker had terminated his contract with the Saudi club Al-Hilal last week, one and a half season before his official date.

Egyptian Zamalek showed great interest in contracting with Khribin before Al-Wehda club won the player's services.

The beginning of the Syrian player's brilliance with football was at Al Dhafra Club, as he played for him two seasons and scored 16 goals in the league, before moving to Al Hilal Saudi Arabia with a financial deal worth five million dollars.

Omar Khribin played 34 official matches with Al Hilal in the Saudi League, with a total of 2799 minutes, scoring 34 goals.

The Syrian striker was loaned to the Egyptian Pyramids Club in the 2018/2019 season, and he played 12 matches with him in the local league, scoring only six goals.

With Al-Hilal, he won the League title three times, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup twice, the Saudi Super Cup once, and the AFC Champions League one time.

Khribin also contributed with Al Hilal to winning the AFC Champions League in the 2019 season, and was named the best player in the yellow continent in 2017.
