Sara Hector has had a great start to the season and, among other things, got on the podium in being on the podium, including on the podium in Courchevel.

But today in Slovenian Kranjska Gora she was not even close to a good position.

After several real releases with the skis, Sara Hector was able to move on to a second run.

- It's not possible at all.

She's really beaten and oh well, it's over three seconds.

It was a negative surprise, states the commentator Björn Fagerlind already after the first ride.

In others, Sara Hector had made a change of skis.

The hope was that she would get a better grip, but it turned out quite the opposite.

- There was no chance to get a grip on the skis in the second run.

Now, until tomorrow, it is time for her to really clench her fists and take with her what she can in the future, says SVT's expert Tobias Hellman about Sara Hector's performance.

- Then she can be around the top ten or top fifteen.

But today was a huge disappointment.

The Swede ended up 28th, last of all skiers who finished, a full 7.86 seconds behind the winner Marta Bassino from Italy.

The Italian led after the first run and controlled the event all the way.

The only threat that really existed for her was the Frenchwoman Tessa Worley who made a cannon shot in the second and was just second, eight tenths behind.
