Kummola about the Ice Hockey World Cup: "Should decide not to play there as soon as possible"

There seems to be a rift in the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

While chairman René Fasel has pressed for Belarus to hold on to the championship despite criticism of the country, vice-chairman Kalervo Kummola has long wanted to move it.

- We waited a bit, maybe too long, but René Fasel thought that Lukashenko (Alexander, President of Belarus) might do something about it all, says Kummola.

According to the Finn, an announcement about the World Cup is expected next week.
