Today, blood doping doctor Mark Schmidt was sentenced to almost five years in prison, guilty of having helped about twenty skiers and cyclists to dope themselves for several years. The doping scandal was revealed in dramatic form after a raid during the World Ski Championships in Seefeld two years ago.
