M6 enters the dance of League 1 TV rights. Nicolas de Tavernost's group proposed to the LFP - through a letter to Vincent Labrune - to broadcast Ligue 1 matches for free after the withdrawal of Mediapro, whose channel Telefoot will continue to broadcast until January 31 (at least).

M6 relies on its anchoring in football
While the League seeks at all costs to avoid the black screen, M6 arises as a legitimate recourse through its attachment to football, which is materialized by the broadcasting of certain matches of the French men's and women's teams and even Euro 2020 .
A few days earlier, Canal + had put forward the idea of pay per view on its platforms while waiting for the vagueness to dissipate.
