Kento Momota, a badminton player infected with the new coronavirus, resumed voluntary practice on the 14th after completing a 10-day waiting period instructed by the health center.

Momota commented through SNS, "I want to do my best so that I can show a healthy appearance on the court."

On the 3rd of this month, Momota, who ranked first in the world ranking for men's singles, was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus by a PCR test received at Narita Airport before leaving for the international competition.

I waited for 10 days according to the instructions of the health center, and since I had no symptoms so far, according to my affiliation NTT East, I returned to the dormitory in Tokyo from the 14th and resumed voluntary practice.

Momota made a short comment on her Twitter account on the afternoon of the 14th, saying, "I want to do my best to show my energetic appearance on the court. Thank you for your continued support."

Momota won the All Japan Championship last month, which was the return race from the traffic accident in January last year, and was scheduled to return to the international tournament held in Thailand this month.
