"Zhenya has very good ideas, so I will help him"

Another private professional club may appear in Russia in 2021.

Back in early December, a well-known blogger, author of the Krasava YouTube channel, Evgeny Savin, spoke about his desire to create his own FC of the same name and declare it in the PFL.

And in January it became known about the first "transfer" of the new team.

In his Instagram, Savin announced a collaboration with the former head coach of Lokomotiv and the Russian national team, Yuri Semin.

According to Evgeny, an experienced specialist will act as a trainer and consultant for the team.

“It's cool that with such experience and background there is still a desire to help young people.

Young people, get ready! "

- wrote the blogger.

Later in an interview with reporters, he explained that Semin would attend training camps, viewing matches and, if he so desired, participate in the training process.

At the same time, Yuri Pavlovich is not going to join the “daily routine”.

Savin also stressed: the ex-mentor of Lokomotiv will work in the club free of charge.

“Yuri Pavlovich immediately said that he was interested in this project.

For Semin, this is the motivation to help.

Will the second league club pay him money?

How do you imagine that?

It just sounds funny.

This is purely his initiative.

I am pleasantly surprised that Palych wants to help young guys to make this project work, ”the Sport-Express blogger quotes.

In turn, Semin explained what exactly attracted him to the club of the former football player.

“Zhenya Savin has very good thoughts, good ideas regarding the development of young talents.

Therefore, I will help him.

I will advise the coaching staff.

I've known Zhenya for a hundred years.

He is a former footballer.

Once I invited him to Lokomotiv.

He is a talented guy who wants to make a good project for Russian football.

It seemed interesting to me, ”the Sport24 coach quotes.

"I want to gather a squad of inglorious bastards"

Savin explained the idea of creating his own professional club by his desire to give a second chance to those young footballers (from 16 to 21 years old) who, for one reason or another, did not play at a professional level.

“I believe that if you correctly distribute your money and the money of partners, you can live normally in professional football, and not survive every year,” the blogger explained.

A few days later, he urged subscribers to send him versions of the coat of arms for "Krasava".

In early January, the former Amkar striker announced the winner.

It was a project with four fingers with rings with the letters "K", "P", "C", "B".

This version is a reference to one of the most popular episodes on the blogger's Youtube channel, during which he attended the semifinal match of the 2018/19 Champions League between Liverpool and Barcelona (4: 0).

At the same time, the coat of arms and all of Krasava's merchandise is made in yellow-white-gray colors.

In parallel with the choice of the emblem, Savin continued to search for the city in which his team would be based.

In particular, in mid-December, he wrote that he had visited Korolev and Odintsovo near Moscow.

At the end of the year, the blogger spoke in more detail about the creation of the club in an interview with the former striker of the Russian national team Dmitry Sychev and the famous commentator Denis Kazansky.

According to Eugene, he intends to "gather a squad of inglorious bastards."

“I always had the thought: some moment will come, I will make my team, I will gather the guys who were left without contracts, who were let down by agents, such as unpromising, and so on, who were not taken to the double after youth football, maybe I will be strengthened by someone else something.

And that moment has come.

I want to make a team next year.

Partially will be my money, partially found sponsors.

I want to show that these guys can get out, that you can make a club that will not exist, but feel normal, "Savin explained in an interview with the YouTube channel" Sychev Podcast and Denis Kazansky ".

He also admitted that when creating the club, he faced a huge number of problems, since in order to get licensed in the PFL, you need to fulfill many requirements.

“So far I am in such a slight shock, because this is a bunch of everything.

We have not yet reached the coach and the collection of the team, and these organizational moments make us sweat, "added Savin.

In the same interview, the blogger said that most likely Krasava will still be based in Odintsovo, near Moscow.

“There is an awesome stadium that is almost ready to host the FNL.

There is a deputy head, a former football player himself.

In short, there is a football management, a cool stadium, there is even heating there - it's very cool.

And, in principle, not far from Moscow.

So while Odintsovo is the favorite, "Savin emphasized.

Meanwhile, Krasava will not be the first private professional club in Russia.

The RPL currently includes Sergey Galitsky's Krasnodar and Leonid Fedun's Spartak.

The FNL is represented by Chaika from Sandyokop, Veles Moscow and Akron from Togliatti, and the last two teams moved up to the sub-elite league only last year.

In 2019, "Chaika" won the PFL "South" zone and for the first time in history made it to the country's second-strongest league.

Veles is the brainchild of Yevgeny Shilenkov, Director General for Active Operations of Veles Capital.

The metropolitan team in five years has made its way from amateur competitions to the sixth place in the FNL.

Finally, Akron was created in 2018 by Pavel Morozov, director of the metallurgical company Akron Holding.

There are also enough private clubs in the PFL.

For example, FC Olimp-Dolgoprudny, confidently leading in zone 2, is sponsored by the Dolgoprudnenskaya Construction Company and Zvenigorodskaya DSK.

And the owner of the Moscow Rodina is a well-known entrepreneur Sergei Lomakin, co-founder of the Fix Price chain of stores.

"Krasava, I think, will fail"

In order to understand what the future holds for Krasava in the PFL, RT talked with the chairman of the board of directors of Olimp-Dolgoprudny, Vladimir Gabulov, and the former owner of Spartak and Khimki, Andrei Chervichenko.

According to the ex-goalkeeper of the Russian national team, Savin's project may well turn out to be viable.

“If there is a source of funding, or at least an understanding of where the club will be funded from, it can be kept in the PFL even without a large investor.

The costs depend on the needs, but we are talking about at least 15 million rubles per year.

And then everything depends on the requirements: the size of the payroll, the number of people on contracts, logistics, wishes for fees.

There are many factors that influence, ”explained Gabulov.

However, according to the chairman of the board of directors of Olimp-Dolgoprudny, trying to live off the sale of players in the PFL at the moment is practically unrealistic.

“Unfortunately, now there is no necessary rotation between divisions in Russian professional football.

There are very few transitions from PFL to FNL and from FNL to RPL.

Still, the Premier League teams should be mostly formed by performers from the lower leagues, as was the case in the 90s, ”added Gabulov.

Finally, the former goalkeeper of the Russian national team called the base not far from Moscow a big plus for Krasava.

“Savin didn’t ask advice, but he said that he had such an idea.

Again, the key point is the source of funding.

If it exists and remains stable, anything is possible.

Also, the presence of infrastructure plays an important role: base, stadium, training fields.

Savin said that his team is likely to play in Odintsovo.

Of course, the proximity to Moscow will only benefit her, ”summed up Gabulov.

In turn, Chervichenko, on the contrary, stressed that he did not believe in Savin's project.

The former owner of Spartak suggested that Krasava would last no more than one season, after which it would go out.

“Krasava, I think, will fail.

In the current realities, maintaining the PFL club is an expensive pleasure.

Savin will need at least 10 million rubles.

The money is spent on salaries (30-50 thousand rubles) and bonuses for football players, renting a stadium and training fields.

But the main expense item is travel.

It's good if you can get to the venue of the match by bus, and if not, the flight will not be cheap, "the expert said in an interview with RT.

According to Chervichenko, Savin's popularity will not help the club either.

In this regard, he compared Krasava with another well-known project near Moscow, which was created at the beginning of the last decade - the Shchelkovo Sparta.

“Perhaps for the sake of interest people can come to several matches of the team, but not more.

As an example, we can recall the Shchelkovo "Sparta", which was created as a football project "30 Spartans" on the channel "Russia-2".

It was then headed by Andrey Tikhonov.

The team did not rise above the third division, ”the businessman recalled.

The former owner of Spartak does not believe that the club will be able to earn money by selling players.

“It's more of a print version.

People want to make it clear that Krasava is a non-standard project.

Perhaps someone will take it.

In fact, all good footballers have been assigned to agents since the age of 14, and hardly anyone will allow them to hang out in an incomprehensible "gang of inglorious bastards," as Savin said.

And you can probably only catch a god by the beard once in your life.

Perhaps someone in Krasava will shoot, ”summed up Chervichenko.
