Gold-betting AIK has mixed and given in the ladies' elite series and is currently third in the table.

Now the club chooses to make changes in the management staff.

Legendary Per Fosshaug, who has led the team since 2019, will leave the coaching post and Peter Rönnqvist will step in instead.

- There is nothing dramatic behind the decision to change the coaching position and Pelle's fine efforts for the team are lasting.

Pelle holds more duties in AIK where he continues just as before, says AIK's sports manager Jonas Galotta on the club's website.

The goal is Swedish Championship gold

Rönnqvist led AIK's ladies to World Cup victory and Swedish Championship gold during the 2011/2012 season.

- It is nice to be back in AIK with the special winning instinct that is still with both players and club, says Rönnqvist.

The goal is still to take the Swedish Championship gold.

- It can be difficult to get to a team during the season, but the goal is clear and the players' skill is enormous, which meant that I took on this honorable assignment.

Now we will work hard with the foundation that has been laid and develop what is possible, says Rönnqvist.
