Rögle tops the SHL table and were big favorites when they received the sixth Leksand at home.

It was also Rögle who started strongest.

Dennis Everberg started the scoring after five minutes and in the middle of the first period, Adam Tambellini was able to expand to 2-0 in powerplay.

But then Leksand took over the baton.

With one minute left of the first period came the reduction goal and nine minutes into the second they were equalized by Martin Karlsson.

Just two minutes later, August Berg Leksand gave the lead.

"A warrior effort"

Rögle fought to get an equalizer in the third period but instead Leksand was able to put both 4-2 and 5-2 in an empty net through Martin Karlsson and Daniel Gunnarsson.

- It's a real warrior effort today.

Even if the game was not always right, everyone is fighting to 100 to take a win.

This season we have an obvious game plan that everyone follows and that we try to work after every day, says Leksand's Jonas Ahnelöv in C More after the match.

It was extra heavy for Rögle that Moritz Seider, the NHL loan from the Detroit Red Wings, went on a solid tackle in the first period and never returned to play.

Rögle writes on Twitter that he is fine under the circumstances.
