But who will come first in Les Sables d'Olonne?

The question remains unanswered for the moment as this edition of the Vendée Globe seems to want to offer us suspense to the end.

Charlie Dalin (Apivia) took the lead of the race on Monday evening, overtaking Yannick Bestaven (Maître Coq).

The latter, who had been the leader for nearly a month, is currently stuck in a windless area.

In the 22 hours standings, Bestaven remains second at 20 nautical miles (37 km) but could soon be overtaken by Thomas Rettant (LinkedOut) and Damien Seguin (Groupe Apicil), respectively at 33 miles (61 km) and 42 miles (77 km) ) behind him, which sail much faster.

The classification at 10 p.m.

1) Charlie Dalin (FRA / Apivia) 4,721 miles from the finish

2) Yannick Bestaven (FRA / Maître Coq IV) 20.4 miles behind the leader

3) Thomas Rettant (FRA / LinkedOut) 53.8 miles behind the leader

4) Damien Seguin (FRA / Groupe Apicil) 62.6 miles behind the leader

5) Louis Burton (FRA / Bureau Vallée 2) 97.4 miles behind the leader
