The night between Friday and Saturday, forward Lars Bryggman suffered from a high fever.

A covid test was performed which then turned out to be positive for covid-19.

“I got a high fever during the night and when I tested in the morning, the test result showed that I got corona.

Right now, I feel pretty good under the circumstances, "Bryggman said in a press release on the club's website.

Now the club has received more cases, a total of four, which they believe are enough for the club feels compelled to pause the business and not conduct any training during the coming week.

- We are running a lockdown this week so hopefully we are ready to play by Wednesday against Färjestad next week.

But it is clear, if we get new cases during the week, our doctors will have to decide what to do, says Patrik Sylvegård to SVT Sport.

According to the game schedule, Malmö will face Brynäs, who also had to postpone matches due to covid, and Djurgården.

SHL reports that matches will be moved to later dates and that Brynäs will instead meet Djurgården now on Tuesday.
