The Norwegian cross-country national team waived the Tour de Ski in view of the risks of becoming infected with covid-19 in connection with travel to and from the destinations.
"Traveling within Europe during a pandemic entails an unacceptably high risk of infection," said Öystein Anderson, medical director of the Norwegian Ski Association, a month ago.
At home on the TV couch, Norwegian star Johannes Hösflot Kläbo sat and watched the drama.
"Very deserved"
- I would have loved to have been there.
It is very heavy to sit here now again and watch everyone else when you would have wanted to be there yourself, says Kläbo to SVT Sport.
He is impressed by Sweden's success during the tour.

Especially what Ebba did the last few days and to be able to take a World Cup victory is very deserved, she has been good for a long time now, says Kläbo.
