On Saturday, she finished second behind Therese Johaug in the 10 kilometer freestyle in the Norwegian Cup.
Next weekend, the Norwegian championships await and on January 23-24, it is then thought that Weng, like other Norwegian skiers, will make a world cup comeback in Finnish Lahti.
She says she has enlisted the help of a psychologist to get ready to compete internationally again.
- It has been nice to have someone to talk to, to become aware of certain things.
I have made a plan, says Weng.
- In Ruka I was not really prepared.
But Heidi Weng is still worried about having to travel, and is therefore more looking forward to the World Cup in Falun the following weekend.
- I can drive there myself.
