The Swedish ladies stood for a fantastic sprint competition - they delivered a triple.

Oskar Svensson did not want to be worse.

The 25-year-old took his first World Cup victory in his career.

- Today he has been king, he has ruled all the way.

This day was Oskar Svenssons, says the expert Anders Blomquist.

It was a dramatic end to the final.

Thrown down the hill

Before the riot, on the last hill, all the skiers stopped.

Nobody wants to be down first as it is easier to get behind and get up to speed.

But Svensson took the chance - and delivered.

The Swede threw himself down the hill and then scooped up when he entered the riot.

The Russians chased behind, but no one could reach Svensson.

It is the first sprint win in the World Cup since 2014 on the men's side.

The last time a Swedish champion won a competition in the World Cup was in 2017 when Marcus Hellner was at the top of the podium.
