ORIX's newcomer joint voluntary training began on the 9th at the training facility of the 2nd army in Konohana-ku, Osaka, including training players such as pitcher Yamashita, who was in 1st place in the draft, and Ryoto Kurita, who joined Akashi Commercial in Hyogo in 3rd place in the draft. All 12 people participated.



While Satoshi Nakajima, who will be in charge of the game from this season, also visited the tournament, the players first warmed up by running.



After that, at the indoor practice field, pitcher Yamashita was energetically moving from the first day, such as playing catch and throwing a powerful ball at a distance of about 50 meters.



After finishing the practice, pitcher Yamashita said, "It was a light menu on the first day, but I was able to practice while enjoying the new environment. I want to build my body firmly so that I can keep up with the camp."



Rookie athletes will continue joint voluntary training until the 28th of this month to prepare for the Miyazaki camp scheduled to start on the 1st of next month.
