William Poromaa was well placed in the group and was on his way to a nice place in the men's mass start in the Tour de Ski.

Then he and Yevgeny Belov crashed into each other and both broke the staff.

The chances of a good result were dashed and afterwards the 21-year-old was furious.

- He steps in on me, it's damn unnecessary.

I just fell.

I was fine so I'm so damn bored right now.

He says that it was difficult to recharge after the incident.

- You just want to get off and break off the skis, but you just have to keep going.

There is nothing to do.

It's so damn boring you just want to vomit.

Useless, no fun at all.

It's just trying to get to the finish line.

Belov was also pissed.

- He breaks my wand and of course I'm angry.

It was not a good tactical run by him, says the Russian to Aftonbladet.

Poromaa finished 31st.

Swedish star Calle Halfvarsson broke the same race.
