Sebastian Samuelsson went out as second skier followed by Martin Ponsiluoma as fifth.

Martin Ponsiluoma fully fired the initial horizontal shot shortly after Samuelsson started with an unusual boom.

For Ponsiluoma, a zero in standing had meant a chance of victory but he had a hard time holding it together and shot two booms.

However, it was enough to take the lead before Sebastian Samuelsson who could also include a boom in standing.

- The ride seems to work now.

Now I can only put the shots and it will probably be good, says Martin Ponsiluoma in SVT's broadcast.

"A warrior race"

Samuelsson fell further and further down the more skiers who came into the finish.

Despite that, he was relatively happy after today's competition.

- It was tough, it was a warrior race out there, says Sebastian Samuelsson in SVT's broadcast.

- The shooting was not what I had hoped for and I do not manage to tie it together in the standing shooting.

But if I had hit another shot, it would have been an okay competition, he adds.

Cool with double victory

But there was nothing to do against the Norwegians and above all the Bö brothers who took first and second place respectively.

Closely followed by Sturla Holm Lägreid who secured the triple.

- It felt incredibly good today.

I have trained well all Christmas.

I managed to push all the way in despite a boom in the last shot.

Then it is incredibly fun that it was a double victory with Terje, says Johannes Tignes Bö in SVT's broadcast.
