New developments in the negotiations of Real Madrid and Ramos ... and the players' position is "embarrassing"!

The relationship between Real Madrid and its captain Sergio Ramos became tense after the president of the royal club, Florentino Perez, told the player's agent that he would not give Ramos any additional euros in the new contract, according to the Spanish media, led by the famous "Cherngito" program.

Real Madrid had offered Ramos a renewal for two seasons, with his current salary of 12 million euros reduced by 10%, but the player refused and opened the doors to leave for major European clubs such as Juventus, Manchester City, Liverpool, the English and Paris Saint-Germain.

For its part, the pro-club newspaper, Marca, revealed that Real Madrid players have taken a collective stance that may embarrass Ramos and affect his image in front of the Real Madrid fans, after they agreed to the club’s management request to reduce their salaries to help the royal club in the current financial crisis that he is going through in light of the continuing Corona virus outbreak, at a time when Ramos insists on his financial position.

It is noteworthy that Ramos' contract with Real Madrid ends next summer after he joined the ranks of the royal team in 2005 from Seville, for a record deal at that time amounted to 27 million euros.

Ramos' achievements with Real Madrid:

La Liga: 5 titles.

European Super Cup: 3 titles.

Club World Cup: 4 titles.
