The superiority is illustrated by the fact that behind Stoch, who won with 48.1 points, ended up second to fourth within 5.1 points.

Before the last part of the competition, there was some excitement left about the prestigious overall win in the German-Austrian ski jumping week which ended in Bischofshofen, Austria, on Wednesday.

Stoch effectively dismissed all opposition and after jumps of 139 and 140 meters he won the competition with 300.7 points.

He was over 20 points ahead of Marius Lindvik who was third in the first competition in Oberstdorf before New Year but had to give up Garimisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck after severe dental problems where a wisdom tooth was operated on at the hospital in Innsbruck.

Lindvik happy about the return

- I am really happy and super happy with the result.

I really want to enjoy this moment right now.

Tomorrow brings new challenges, says the 33-year-old Stoch, who has three Olympic gold medals, after his third title in the ski jumper week to the international ski association, Fis.

Lindvik was happy to be back on the slopes after the drama with the toothache and the hospital visit.

- I'm happy with the result.

I had to stay in the hospital for two days but everything went well, says Lindvik.
